Joel Osteen Devotional 22nd October 2025 – Today’s Inspiration
Today’s Topic: Something Sacred
Scripture: Then Samson prayed to the LORD, “Sovereign LORD, remember me again. O God, please strengthen me just one more time. With one blow let me pay back the Philistines for the loss of my two eyes.” – Judges 16:28, NLT
Samson’s birth was prophesied. He was called to deliver his people before his birth. He was given supernatural strength, something sacred. He knew God’s hand was on him, but he started hanging around the wrong people. Instead of protecting and using what God had entrusted him with, he didn’t take seriously what God had given him and compromised. He played around with his talent and potential, and he eventually lost it.
This once powerful man, who was prophesied to do great things, ended up blinded and chained by enemies. Yet even though he mishandled his calling, God gave him another chance, giving him the strength to push the middle pillars of a temple, collapsing the building and killing more enemies in his death than he had during his lifetime.
If you don’t see what God has given you as valuable, as sacred, you’ll end up mishandling it. Protect His calling on your life—your marriage, your children, your career. And if you’ve let it slip, God is giving you another chance. Answer His call today. He’s about to do something amazing in your life.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the destiny that You have called me to fulfill. Thank You that You have redeemed me and that Your mercies cover my mistakes and failures. I’m going to keep moving forward knowing that You always have another ‘one more time’ for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
TODAY’S INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: Anything that’s trying to make you feel less than, not enough, you need to ask yourself, “Where did that come from?” That’s the enemy whispering his lies. God is saying, “Who told you that you’re not talented enough? Who told you that you’re not attractive? Who told you that you’ll always struggle? Who told you that you can’t accomplish your dream?” Tune out all the lies and reprogram your mind with who God says you are. You may have gone through disappointments, times you didn’t measure up. You have good reasons to live condemned, discouraged, limited, but nothing that’s happened to you has changed who you are. You are still a child of the Most High, full of power, full of potential. No mistake you’ve made, no failure, no weakness has changed your identity. You are still worthy, valuable, a masterpiece. Listen to this new message from Joel! “Mistaken Identity”:
